For my first review, I knew that I would have to do a pen that I have used for a long time, and one that I really enjoy writing with. I got the Pilot Hi-Tec-C about two years ago, and have been using it ever since.
This pen writes very smoothly, and dries very quickly. For the most part, the pen doesn’t bleed through the paper, and rarely smudges. It’s also very thin and compact, which gives it a very plain look. This pen also comes in 4 sizes:
- 0.25 mm
- 0.3 mm
- 0.4 mm
- 0.5 mm
And, for all you people who like to write in colors besides black, it is also sold in 40 other colors! The Hi-Tec-C feels good in your hand, and is comfortable to write with. It is also compact enough to fit in your pocket or easily in a pencil case.
Overall, This is a great pen, and is very reliable. The only problem is that sometimes the ink stops coming out for short periods of time. other than that, this pen is a great buy and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great pen.

I read some other rave reviews about this pen and bought the o.25 because I write fairly small. That tip size, however, makes it feel like I’m scratching the paper with a needle. As small as I write, I think 0.5 is about as small as is practical.
I just started a pen and paper blog last week, http://notebookeresq.blogspot.com, focusing on pen and paper in a digital world. I’ve adde you to my blogroll and have put up a post to let people know about your blog (not that anyone is reading my blog yet!).
I’ll be checking back here often. Good luck!
